"Gym system is not FIFO"

#PokemonGO: I think the statement from Niantic "When battling Pokémon, you battle Pokémon in the order they were assigned to the Gym; the Pokémon on the Gym for the longest time will battle first." is confusing people into thinking that the gym system will be FIFO (First in First out) when this is not necessarily the case. Let's see the following example using 3 pokémon in the gym*You put the first pokémon, a 3000 CP Dragonite*Second pokémon that enter the gym is a 10 CP Magikarp*Third pokémon is a 1500 CP Hypno. So you fight all 3 pokémon and beat everyone of them. *Dragonite goes down to 2000cp , stays in gym.*Magikarp goes down to 0cp and exits gym.*Hypno goes down to 800 cp and stays in gym. All Niantic said was that the first pokémon that entered the gym will be the first one to fight when the gym gets attacked. Not that will be the first one to exit the gym. The first pokémon to exit the gym will be the one with lower motivation / CP. Edit: to everyone saying that every pokemon loses a fixed 20% motivation when losing a battle, riddle me this: What if a gym only has one blissey in the whole gym. You have to fight it 6 times to take the gym down?? via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2tSIPDP
