"Our local Starbucks manager, the true raid boss"

#PokemonGO: Today I sadly got my first bad experience with a raid. The gym where it happened was at a starbucks in my city, and since it was a Snorlax I was pretty happy that quite a few people showed up. But yeah, turns out that Starbucks managers do not like 15 ''anoying students with nothing better to do with their time than to obstruct paying customers'' (freely translated from Dutch), even though we were just sitting on the sidewalk (you'll just have to take my word on that, but as far as I know most PoGo players are decent people so yeah...). We were then given the choice between pay for a drink or to get moving. We ended up staying where we were since, well, it's not his fucking sidewalk and he was the only person there who had a problem with us. I'm not going to be sipping on shitty overpriced coffee for an hour. Moral of the story: Starbucks, if you throw a pile of money at Niantic to turn your stores into stops / gyms, make sure your managers don't get surprised when people actually show up. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2sFY05N
