"Should there be a "Pokemon Bible" of sorts? Sort of like Hyrule Historia?"

I don't mean "bible" in the sense of recapping the Pokemon world's mythology - at least not solely. I mean more of a metacontextual guide, which includes:-Scrapped concept art and ideas, with why they were not ultimately used.-A complete listing of which members of GameFreak staff designed each monster (e.g. Atsuko Nishida and Pikachu). And, for each artist, there could be a showcase of various artwork they've done for the series otherwise, like the Sugimori watercolors or possibly TCG artwork.-A recap of notable events in the Pokemon timeline. E.g. not so much stuff like the moon landing that's acknowledged in Gen I, but more like the year Porygon was made, the saga of finding Mew and cloning it, the 500 years ago when Magearna and Spiritomb were created, the historical wars in Kalos and between Kyogre/Groudon, or when the Burned Tower was, well, burnt.-Addressing long-time rumors and mysteries, such as why was there a truck at the SS Anne dock, whether Mewtwo and Mew were possibly inspired by Tetsuo and Akira from the manga/anime "Akira," and what was going on with the stuff in X/Y like the ghost girl, and the locked power plant?-Tear-out, poster versions of the maps of each region. And I don't mean in-game maps, I mean the map artwork we see in strategy guides or manuals. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2sEhw34
