"[Analysis] Moltres will be duo-able (and easily trio-able)!"
#PokemonGO: Hello all,A little late on the raid party analysis this time. Lots of analysis already released with some amazing infographics.Moltres will be a fairly easy Legendary to counter as water pokemon are fairly easily obtainable and many of you have loaded up on rock pokemon from the recent event.Nevertheless, here is the spreadsheet I've created for countering Moltres, which compares moveset combinations of every Pokemon. A lot of the time, many analyses do not release hard numbers for simplicity sake (or other reasons), and just show infographics. This is awesome for those who just want to know what's best in an easily digestable format. However, if you enjoy looking at numbers and spreadsheets, take a look here for Moltres:Moltres SpreadsheetIf I had the time to make cool infographics, I totally would, too!Anyways, I've added a new column to show the number of trainers required to defeat the Legendary assuming your group had a party of ONLY that Pokemon (assumptions: Level 30, perfect IV).For those who don't have time to click the link above, I've listed the Top 20 counters sorted based on a combination of power and speed (to account for both tankiness and glass counters), using their best moveset. If your moveset is not here, don't worry, check out the linked spreadsheet.Moltres SpreadsheetHave you powered up your mon past Level 30? You can approximately estimate it's effectiveness by adding/subtracting 1% per level increase.NameFASTCHARGEPOWERxSPEED (%)TRAINERS REQUIRED (lower is better)OmastarRock ThrowRock Slide100%1.91GolemRock ThrowStone Edge88%1.95TyranitarBiteStone Edge76%2.4VaporeonWater GunAqua Tail69%2.78SudowoodoRock ThrowRock Slide63%2.41KabutopsFury CutterAncient Power63%2.67KingdraWater GunHydro Pump62%2.97ZapdosThunder ShockThunderbolt62%2.25DragoniteDragon BreathDragon Claw61%2.78FeraligatrWater GunHydro Pump58%2.86GravelerRock ThrowRock Slide55%2.48GyaradosDragon BreathHydro Pump54%3.2MagcargoRock ThrowStone Edge53%3RhydonMud SlapStone Edge52%3.53AerodactylBiteAncient Power52%2.82StarmieWater GunPower Gem52%2.64LugiaExtrasensoryHydro Pump50%3.89JolteonThunder ShockThunderbolt49%2.5PoliwrathBubbleHydro Pump49%3.37ArcanineSnarlWild Charge49%3.21Couple of notes (will be editing throughout the day):Note the lack of Blissey and SnorlaxAlthough Vaporeon and Tyranitar are great counters, they are not necessarily the "fastest" counters due to lower DPS.Aqua Tail performs slightly better than Hydropump on Vaporeon (by <1% in the spreadsheet) simply because my calculations show you can possibly get in an extra charge move. Same goes for Ancient Power vs Stone Edge (sometimes).Zapdos is kind of irrelevant since it won't be released in time (more of an FYI observation)When I say "easily" trio-able, I meant you better have above Level 30 mons. Easily for hard-core trainers. You will also have BARELY enough time left. I'm pushing it the max time limit here. And duo-able is theoretically possible, but will be extremely challenging. I highly doubt any pair has 6 powered up Golems or Legacy Omastars (I have one.) via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2tOr3SE
