"Lugia's attack stat is about the same as Xatu...half way between Smoochum and Exeggcutor"

#PokemonGO: I see people saying that they want to power up their Lugias, probably assuming they are really strong attackers. I understand why. As a raid boss it has a massive CP, and it's harder to take down than a Tyranitar. And it's legendary. It does have high CP, but that comes from a huge defense stat and very good stamina. As the title says, as a Psychic attacker, it's just slightly better than Xatu. Exeggcutor and Jynx both have much higher attack stats. And of course Alakazam and Espeon blow it away as Psychic attackers.Having said that, if you are low on potions and revives, and don't mind that the battles will take longer...then it might be a good option because it can take a huge beating before getting knocked out. Along the same lines as using a Blissey on attack, but not that extreme.I'm just writing this as an FYI to people who assume it's something you want to spend stardust and rare candy powering up.
