"Most forgotten Gen 1 Pokemon?"

I see the question of "Most Forgotten Pokemon?" asked occasionally, here and across other websites. However, I doubt Kanto Pokemon are ever brought up in these discussions, simply because they've been around the longest. They have over two decades of anime appearances, merchandise, new forms, evolutionary line expansions, and megas added in later generations to make them stick in our minds. When people ask the most forgotten Pokemon, their answers are usually things like Stantler, that have nothing at all, no special treatment like a signature move or plot relevance. So today I want to ask what people think is the most forgettable Pokemon from Gen 1, where all of them have something special to remember them by.For my money, Lickitung is the most forgotten. It just never really did anything, and even a later generation evolution didn't do much to help. You never encounter one in a memorable situation, like the party of an important trainer, and it's not common so you won't see it in the wild like Zubat.
