"PSA: Reply to the auto-confirmation when you raise a support ticket"

#PokemonGO: I added this as a comment in another thread, but I think its worth its own thread...When you raise a support ticket to Niantic, because you lost a raid pass due to the ERROR bug or anything else, they send you an automated confirmation with reference number as is usual for this sort of thing. That confirmation email contains a ton of text, including blurb about it taking longer to respond at the moment due to volume, then a few paragraphs of 'known issues' ... the sort of stuff no one reads because they know what the known issues are because they had to wade through them in order to raise the ticket in the first place. Then near the bottom of that email is a single easily-missed line 'If you still have an issue please respond to this email.'If you don't follow that prompt and send a response to the auto-confirm they will flag the ticket as solved and close it after a couple of days. You will then get a 'rate your experience' email.TL;DR - respond to the ticket auto-response confirming you have an actual issue or your ticket will be closed without any resolution via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2tdcj3j
