"Tier 4 Raid Bosses - Catch Probability by Throw Type"

#PokemonGO: Now that the catch rate modifiers for Premier balls and Golden Razzberries have been confirmed, here's a graphic to show just how effective they are in comparison to Razzberries and other throw types.Image linkCatch probabilities have been calculated using gamepress' catch formula.Catch formula assumes player has the gold medal(s) for each pokemon type, and that the maximum multiplier for each nice, great and excellent throw is made.Since the base capture rate for Snorlax, Lapras and Rhydon has been decreased to 5%, all tier 4 raid bosses now have the same chance of being caught, and all follow the same catch rate formula in the graphic. Some (potentially obvious) observations:Using a Golden Razzberry instead of a Pinap or Nanab more than doubles your catch rateCatch rates greater than 25% are not possible without a Golden RazzberryMaximum possible catch rate for a tier 4 raid boss is 37.65% using a curved, golden berried, gold medalled, perfect excellent throw.A lone premier ball gives you a 5.41% (1/18) catch rate. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2uxRyvr
