"An idea to make old games still feel complete"

I recently started White again and it's a bummer that Victini is completely out of the realm of possibility at this point in the game's lifespan.That's why an interesting idea I thought of, but GameFreak has absolutely no incentive to do is to patch the game so that any event that occurred after the game's initial release could still be accessed.How that could have worked, I don't know. Maybe a Wonder Card that gave any necessary items? I just think about the Darkrai and Shaymin events from D/P that are permanently gone for anyone going back to play them or the Pokewalker courses that have disappeared.I feel like they did kind of future proof ORAS though with how a lot of legendaries are available.
