"What if PokemonGo's mechanics and features are intentionally limited by ThePokemonCompany?"
#PokemonGO: We are all players that plays PokemonGo. Since we are a lot we have tons of geniuses, of visionary, of game's mechanics expert, but i think the majority is just "players who plays this game".But, we can ALL see lot of broken game mechanics, lots of UI and gameplay improvement, lots of problems with stardust being too low, unfair gyms, unfair and unchallenging tracker, no player in-game comunication and go on..But i don't think Niantic is "that" blind. I don't think nobody in Niantic plays theire own game and cannot see what we are seeing. From my point of view is like Niantic have to obey some rules forced by someone. Who is this? Niantic is now indipendend from google so it cannot be google. But Pokemon is a trademark by ThePokemonCompany and i read in this subreddit (cannot find back the link) an interview where one of TPC requirements for PokemonGo was "it must be simpler than the original games".And if you think about it.. where did you already seen a game with a online mode that doesn't allow players to comunicate properly? .. MarioKart? Any Nintendo game? I'm no game expert and i don't know how multiplayer mode works for games like Splatoon, but i've never seen a proper chat in a Nintendo game (maybe on GameCube's Phantasy Star Online).Niantic put a chat in Ingress, they know it must be here as a key game feature, but we don't have in PokemonGo.What do you think about it? Do you think this theory is reasonable?TL;DR: i have the strong feeling that The Pokemon Company imposed PokemonGo simple mechanics, no-global-chat rule and other limits on this game via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2uIUKEn
