"[Discussion] Raids have turned the game from a leisurely activity I can do on my own time to something I gotta do on other peoples time."
#PokemonGO: It's significantly changed the game, and not for the better. Used to be I could do whatever errands or social things I wanted to do at whatever time was best to do them, and could play Pokemon whenever I wanted. Early morning, late arvo, 2am. Whenever. Didn't matter what time I played I was able to play the same game and get the same benefits as anyone else in town. Now I can still do that, but I've also gotta be ready to drop everything or leave the house at times inconvenient to me just because if I don't I won't be able to raid, or get the items or Pokemon exclusive to raids. It's not fun, and it's certainly not just me that's starting to feel this way.I've had to join social networking and install apps on my phone that allow me to co-ordinate raids with other people, and for the first time since I've started playing I've needed to take my car with me.Gone are the days when I can play my game while having a leisurely stroll around the lake or a park or on the way to a friends house or wherever I decide I want to eat that day. Now every day it's carefully monitor Facebook and try not to make too many plans I can't abandon at the last minute. It's turning into a job I don't get paid for. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2fd1tBu
