"How do you see the game in a year?"

#PokemonGO: For me, I would like to see more depth instead of just more Pokemon - maybe some daily quests other than "spin a pokestop and catch a Pokemon, you're done." I would also like to see PVP or other ways to engage players in places different than gyms.I'm a city player, but I would like to see something more done regarding suburban/rural players. What's the point of playing if there is one gym located 4 miles away and the only Pokemon spawning are a single Pidgey and a Caterpie? There was a great idea of an user I don't remember (unfortunately, though all credits should go to him) regarding an implementation of system that would resemble Routes in main games. Routes could spawn a couple of different species of Pokemon, making it easier to locate some Pokemon. But still - a player would have to find the right route and, most importantly, find a Pokemon on it. No /route system like in PWO, rather small quadrants containing different species. It would also provide some sense for the in-game map, which it currently lacks.Third thing would be ability to cooperate and team up. I would like to be a part of a team that could be something in-game. Uniforms, a tag name, maybe a single gym dedicated for the team that would provide bonus items or better defender/attacker bonus for interacting with the gym. For the whole first year I was playing alone and it was really killing the enthusiasm. Raids made it better, but it's another point.Which is, the raids are killing the game slowly. Level 31 is said to be the soft cap, but with the implementation of raids, it doesn't matter. You still get a fully evolved, rare Pokemon for basically nothing. All you have to do is to collect Stardust to power it up, but basically you're good to go once you do two-three weeks of daily raids with stronger players carrying you.For now, the game is an endless grind. A year from now, I would love the game to be still thriving, but standing on a different foundation - depth. What do you think the game will look like in 2018? via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2woFeTP
