"[humor] Niantic is an evil genie"
#PokemonGO: As Niantic "fixes" things, I start to think that Niantic is an evil genie that likes to corrupt a wish. For example, people complain about the old gym system, where type advantage doesn't matter; some players stack Blissey in many gyms that low levels can't touch, and high levels need more than a half-hour to take down. Niantic "fixes" it by reducing the number of mons in the gyms from 10 to 6, requiring all mons to be unique, and having the mons (esp. big mons) decay so fast that a player can beat a full gym with nothing by Pidgey. Niantic also cuts coin payout in half and removes stardust rewards entirely.Niantic adds Raids, and limits to high level players at first. People say that most players should be able to raid. Niantic lowers the minimum level to 5, but doesn't reduce the capture level, so level 5 players catch level 20 mons.Raids pay out a fair number of TMs, rare candy, golden razzberry and a LOT of revives. Players say they get too many revives, and ask if the Revives can be replaced with MAX revives and/or Max potions. Niantic nerfs the shit out of Raid rewards, replacing half of everything with potions... 20s, 50s, and 200s. Now, there aren't enough golden razzberry to catch Legendaries, and players are flooded with potions they don't need.Raids are entered blindly, and players ask for a way to see how many are in the Raid before they potentially lose their daily pass on a guaranteed loss effort. The best suggestion is to not consume the raid pass until the raid starts (or is won). Niantic instead shows the number of people who have already used their Raid pass to those who have not joined, but does not show the correct number to people who have joined...Pure evil genie behavior. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2f0icrP
