#PokemonGO: I'm a very introverted guy who has only ever known a very small circle of friends. As we got older and started to progress with our lives we grew distant and don't get to see much of each other and that can get pretty lonely at times.I picked this up on day 1 (actually I got an APK file a week before the UK launch but w/e) and it got me going out every night and meeting new people and catching up with the friends I don't get to talk to often. I stopped playing as the hype started to die down after about 3 months or so and my friends quit even sooner than that. Things were back to being lonely and it really started to get me down.Then the legendary raids came out and it got me to look into seeing if there were still enough people on the island I live on to actually do these raids and I stumbled upon a Discord server where they organised such raids and meetups. This was fantastic! I got to meet a load of new people who are mostly very similar to me and have the same interests and I've got a new friend circle from it that fits my life much better. And on top of this I've met the most amazing girl at one of these raids and we've really hit it off!This game has brought me huge amounts of happiness whenever I've played it, not because of the game itself, but because of the way it brings people together.Thank you PoGo for all the great times I've had because of you! via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2vOlkgt
