"Someone in my raid group is misinterpreting RNG and is telling everyone false information."

#PokemonGO: So there is this older lady in our raid group (super nice lady) that is convinced that it is determined whether or not you will catch the raid boss upon entering the bonus challenge. Now she's going around telling everyone, "That's how RNG works. It was pre-determined before you ever saw it." I've tried to explain to her that it is determined as soon as you throw the ball, and that it's a new chance to catch it on every throw, but to no avail. She just will not listen to reason, and I do not want the people in our groups to be told something that isn't true.Is there any sort of research, or anything I could show her as proof, that anyone knows about?I know this seems silly to ask (since it should be common knowledge after over 20 years of Pokemon) but it seems she will not believe anything until she sees proof. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2xTpiVR
