"Frequent crashes when interacting with gyms. Anyone Else?"

#PokemonGO: It's crazy how often my game is crashing recently, almost exclusively when I interact with gyms. Sometimes, the game crashes as soon as I click on the gym. Other times, I can view the gym and exit out before my game crashes. It's most frustrating when I'm trying to battle the gym. Sometimes, it crashes as soon as I hit the battle button. Sometimes it crashes after I choose my team and hit 'Go Battle'. The worst is when the game crashes mid fight or during the continue screen, locking me out of the gym for 10 minutes due to Error. If other players are defeating pkmn as I'm trying to enter battle, a crash is all but guaranteed. The most puzzling is when I can battle and beat a gym twice, but trying to go straight into a 3rd round results in a crash.
