"How many of you were fans of Pokemon prior to Pokemon Go?"

#PokemonGO: It's anecdotal but the majority of people I meet at raids or at parks playing Pokemon Go have told me that they've never played a Pokemon game or had any interest in the series at all prior to Pokemon Go.I was wondering how typical that response is among Pokemon Go players.For me personally I played Gen 1-3 back when they were released on Gameboy then I lost interest for awhile and returned to the series with Gen 6 and 7. I also played the card game during the first few sets and watched the first few seasons of the anime.I think it's a good thing that Pokemon Go has captured the interest of so many people that didn't grow up with the games it's just kind of a weird situation when I'm talking to a level 40 player and realize they don't know a lot about Pokemon. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2yTzW2E
