"I miss Hau"

Just a plain old Hau appreciation post. Easily one of my favorite "rivals." Sure he wasn't smug, or an asshole. Sure he might've been a little too positive for some people's tastes. But he had a lot of heart. Compared to the cyborgs we traveled with in Kalos, he legitimately brought a smile to my face with his easygoing energy and his corny jokes. His interactions with Faba & Gladion got really good laughs out of me in particular.I found his conflict with living up to Hala interesting and even somewhat relatable, as well as his disappointment in himself after the Lillie situation & losing to us at the League. His desire to do better & seeing him help train the reforming Skull grunts, taking after old Hala was especially endearing and made me feel proud for real.His expanded role in USUM has me extremely excited. I actually want to see him go hard & win. The characters in Alola had a lot of heart in general but I automatically think of him when I hear the laidback music of SM and the welcoming nature of the region. Truly one of the best rivals friends made in all the generations...to me at least.
