"I think the concept of Pokemon who only evolve via trades needs to go."
Whether it's because you're doing a Nuzlocke, or replaying a game where the online fanbase has dwindled, evolving a Kadabra has become less feasible in many cases.I understand that Nintendo had it in mind to help make players socialize, but when we connect online for a few minutes, exchange emoticons, and then forget about each other forever, I think it's lost its purpose. Not to mention, now that 99% of trades are online, most of the experience is us fretting that the person on the other end might bail part-way through and not return your Pokemon. If some players argue that there is a necessity in keeping trade evolutions around, I propose a compromise; have a means to evolve them in a game without the use of other players (maybe a scientist NPC helps you?) but as a result they have no Abilities. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2h4Z7Wd
