"Pokemon Go Plus needs a rework, thoughts and suggestions."

#PokemonGO: After reading through many posts about the Pokemon Go Plus and it's issues it got me thinking of ways the device could be fixed; and why anyone hadn't yet suggested any changes or improvements. I feel like one half of the community with the Go Plus loves it, where the other views it as worthless and unreliable.. which leads me to a discussion for a potential software update to aide to go plus and it's interaction with the game. Here are my issues and thoughts; feel free to jump in.1) Pokemon catch preference:I think we can all agree that it's quite pathetic how the GoPlus is a "hit or miss".. catching the small pokemon you don't want and actually missing the Pokemon you do want to catch... using just pokeballs. What if it was/ Would it be possible to create an addition to the Pokedex where it's possible to select Poke/Great/Ultra ball to be thrown for a specific pokemon, aswell as Razz/Pinap/Nanab berry upon an encounter with the GoPlus? Beyond that, an 'ignore' and 'high priority' feature could be included to prevent the GoPlus from selecting 'ignored' pokemon to catch and flashing yellow for 'high priority' and 'new' pokemon to leave it to catch manually (or at a press).2) Latency: It appears there's either 2 issues with the connection speed with the GoPlus, not Bluetooth connectivity - internet lag, seemingly. It seems that the GoPlus will either flash and vibrates well before a pokemon/pokestop has appeared on screen, or well after you're within proximity of said pokemon/pokestop and there doesn't seem to be a sweet spot. Sure, disconnected and reconnecting solves this problem temporarily.. but we shouldn't have to establish a connection manually (by hard reset or external app). There is already a "Select Pokestop" and "Select pokemon" option for the GoPlus, which helps in high traffic areas.. but I feel a 'Pokestop > Pokemon' or 'Pokemon > Pokestop' is needed so we aren't waiting for mons to be caught or stops to be spun before moving on.3) Connectivity/Disconnectivity: I've read through multiple posts about the inconsistent connection of the GoPlus and how many grinding sessions have had undercut potential due to disconnecting without a clear notification, or constant disconnection due to manually catching pokemon, but no suggested fixes. It seems that the instability is related to the app itself, though it's prevalent across android devices predominantly (possibly due to the app being optimised for IOS rather then android). Many people have made posts about improving the response time of the GoPlus and other features alike using the 'NRF' connect app, or simply to buy a Go-chya, which Nintendo/Pokemon Go should be aware of by now.. why aren't they implementing fixes to aide the sales of their own products and not 3rd party options? via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2iL5eTw
