#PokemonGO: Tired of living in a stopless rural area that is chalk full of potential? Wish you could submit stops but Niantic has given you the shaft again? Then you have come to the right place. Here, through a simple process you will make Ingress players who are eligible to submit portals aware of gems you feel would be opportune candidates. For those that are unaware, Ingress is the parent game that even allowed Pokemon Go to be a possibility. All non sponsored stops came from Ingress. On September 25th Ingress portal submissions were relaunched for level 11 Agents and many, but not all Ingress portals that are submitted are ported over into Pokemon Go. Getting to level 11 is roughly equivalent to getting to level 30 in Pokemon go.Let me start off with the rules here. All submissions must fall within the Ingress Candidate Portal criteria as well as the Recon Memorandum.. If we feel it does not, your request will be removed. There will be no arguing about this. The sub, and those willing to assist you are providing a service that takes up actual resources, and we do not want to spend fuel and time on failed attempts. All requests must follow this exact format. Any missing information and your request will be deleted.Country name, State/Provinence/applicable regional name, city.A photo you took nested in the name of the portal in question using imgur to host the image. We also want to the best of your knowledge information on how long the object in question has existed at this location. We will explain below.A google maps pinned location of where it is.A description of where the location is, such as, in the ally behind Mcdonalds, or visible through the window of the business named X.Are there any access restrictions. Are the roads closed at night, is it a museum you have to pay to enter, etc.And finally, signal strength and carrier information from your visit. Meaning, what cell phone company did you use there, and did you need to do anything special to have a signal there. In Ingress cell phone boosters wifi hotspots, tethering, and satellite modems are often used. Our example postUnited States, Idaho, Chilly.Mount Borah Trailhead Sign To my knowledge this plaque has been here for at least 2 years.http://ift.tt/2xz5QPq where the campground meets the trail head.No access Restrictions.Verizon booster required. No ATT signal. The reason we want this information is for a few reasons.First, as stated above, this takes up real time and resources.Second, people travel and may not be aware of issues in certain areas surrounding access and cell phone coverage. Much of Idaho for example is inaccessible to Tmobile and Sprint, and smaller parts do not have Verizon or ATT coverage.Third, we want people who are willing to help, to be able to check and see if those locations already exist in Ingress and simply were not ported over to avoid unneeded expenditures. The portal approval process on Niantics end heavily relies on google earth and google streetview to verify the existence of requested portals. If the photos are out of date, it is quite possible the objects will be denied, and people may not want to spend resources for something that statistically is rejected, even if it is valid. Finally in this megathread, keep the extra comments to an absolute zero. For those making requests, if you have multiples in the same area nest them. For those responding to requests. Respond to the top nest so it is easily seen that some one is on it so multiple people dont attempt to help.A final note. Ingress players are limited to 7 submissions per 14 days, so this may be a slow start. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2fJSfQT
