#PokemonGO: Situation:After completing a legendary raid, have you ever had someone next to you who was quite poor at throwing; straight throws, barely hitting the pokemon, no nice, great or excellent bonus and eventually catches it. On the other hand you throw 10 consecutive excellent curve balls and the pokemon flees (very frustrating). Based on studies, the probability of you catching the legendary after 10 excellent curve hits is around ~81%, but in reality the 10th curve excellent throw only gives you a ~15% catch chance. Note: I assume golden razz + gold badge.Proposal:Introduce an excellent throw streak bonus added onto the base capture rate. If you miss or throw anything except for an excellent throw, the streak is reset. This would work for curve or straight excellent throws (only difference is the base capture rate percentage).Example (% bonus values are a suggestion; BCR = base capture rate):1st throw; excellent curve: 15% BCR2nd throw; excellent curve: 15% BCR + 10% streak bonus = 25% catch percent3rd throw; excellent non curve: 9% BCR + 20% streak bonus = 29% catch percent4th throw; great curve: 8% BCR; (streak bonus reset)5th throw; excellent curve: 15% BCR6th throw; excellent curve: 15% BCR + 10% streak bonus = 25% catch percentEtc.This is intended as a high risk reward bonus. I feel this should only apply to excellent throws, not great throws since they are significantly easier to hit. If the community thinks great throws should also be included, then it should be at a lower bonus percentage (5 great throw streak = 2 excellent throw streak or something like this).Conclusion:This streak bonus allows for skill (consistent excellent throwing) to overcome RNG. In the above example, if you are able to hit 10 excellent throws in a row (which is quite difficult), you will gain a 100% chance to catch that pokemon on that 10th throw.What do you guys think?Edit: Thanks for all the current feedback. Try not to get hung up on the numbers as the 10% was only an example, it can very easily be 1-2% each streak (might have been a bit extreme :).Also I should have mentioned that the streak percent bonus would be different for the different raid tiers (lowest on T1 and highest on T5).The main concept is to provide more incentive to improve throwing (improving your skill) rather than relaying on so much luck/RNG (currently best catch percent on a T5 is 15% for each throw which leaves a large percentage to be luck based).
