"We 3-manned 2 different Entei movesets back to back in Athens, Greece"
#PokemonGO: Hi fellow travelers! We decided this week, as it was Entei's last days in Europe, to give it a try for a three-man attempt and we managed to beat two different movesets back to back. Our trainer levels are 37, 38 and 40.In the following video you can watch our successful attempts:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dq_DFnWSPJIThe following teams were used. Pokemon are in order of appearance:Level 40 Trainer:Vaporeon lvl 39 15/15/14 Water Gun/Hydro PumpVaporeon lvl 39 15/14/13 Water Gun/Hydro PumpVaporeon lvl 39 14/15/12 Water Gun/Hydro PumpGolem lvl 39 15/15/15 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeGolem lvl 35 15/14/14 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeGolem lvl 33 15/15/13 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeTyranitar lvl 39 15/15/14 Bite/Stone EdgeTyranitar lvl 39 13/14/15 Bite/Stone EdgeGolem lvl 33 15/12/15 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeGolem lvl 33 15/11/11 Rock/Throw Stone EdgeLevel 38 Trainer:Kingler lvl 36 15/15/15 Bubble/Water PulseGolem lvl 31.5 14/14/9 Rock Throw/Rock BlastVaporeon lvl 39 15/11/15 Water Gun/Hydro PumpGolem lvl 30.5 14/14/15 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeVaporeon lvl 39 13/14/11 Water Gun/Hydro PumpGyarados lvl 39 15/15/15 Bite/Hydro PumpTyranitar lvl 39 15/14/14 Bite/Stone EdgeTyranitar lvl 39 13/15/15 Bite/Stone EdgeGolem lvl 35 15/15/14 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeGolem lvl 32.5 12/9/12 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeLevel 37 Trainer:Vaporeon lvl 37.5 15/14/10 Water Gun/Hydro PumpVaporeon lvl 36.5 15/11/12 Water Gun/Hydro PumpVaporeon lvl 36.5 15/7/13 Water Gun/Hydro PumpGyarados lvl 35 15/15/11 Bite/Hydro PumpGolem lvl 32 13/12/10 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeGolem lvl 30 15/14/14 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeGolem lvl 38.5 15/13/14 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeTyranitar lvl 37.5 15/11/15 Bite/Stone EdgeTyranitar lvl 33.5 15/15/12 Bite/Stone EdgeRhydon lvl 36.5 15/15/15 Mud-Slap/Stone EdgeFirstly, we ran some simulations on pokebattler (awesome tool, shoutout to /u/celandro for his great work) and it showed that we could use the “Dodge Specials PRO” technique to defeat the raid boss with plenty of time left. We tried three different Entei movesets with this technique but unfortunately due to the dodge bug we couldn't beat the raid boss in time. After studying other trainers' successful attempts, we decided that the “No Dodging” techinque was the way to go. Also, we rejoined just after our last pokemon of the first 6 released its charge attack to maximize our efficiency. Of course, we had the second team prepared as we took into account which pokemon the game suggested as first and kept them as substitutes so we had enough damage to finish the battle in time. The first Entei had Fire Spin/Flamethrower. Its charge move really made our lives easier because it didn't hit that hard but still gave us enough energy to load our charge moves faster. Rejoin was smooth and Entei went down fairly easily with 8 seconds left. We all used 9 pokemon.Second Entei had Fire Fang/Fire Blast. Unlike Flamethrower, Fire Blast hits hard and gave my vaporeons the chance to release only 2 Hydro Pumps as they were somewhat underleveled. The 40 level trainer's vaporeons all got out 3 Hydro Pumps and gave us a huge boost on damage. Rejoin was smooth and fast as well and we managed to defeat the raid boss with just 2 seconds left. This time we also had to use 10 pokemon instead of 9. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2xSYUid
