"Why do we still only have 2 shiny families?"

#PokemonGO: A shiny Pokémon, for Go trainers who live under a rock, are specific Pokémon with different coloration to what is usual for its species. Many Pokémon have a spectacular difference between their normal and Shiny variations; even extremely common Pokémon like Pidgey show a dramatic difference. The rarity of shinies in Pokémon Go has been estimated to be about 1 in 235 for the two current families that are capable to be found as of yet. (Even with those odds, I have yet to find any!) Once you have caught one or two or even more than that, and so have millions of other people, what is the point? Shiny Pokémon are known as highly cherished because of their extreme rarity and variety in the main series. When there are only two shiny families to discover, and the rarity of encounter is only just uncommon, what fun is that? Its comparable to the Pikachus with hats.The next time shiny Pokémon are added to Pokémon Go, there should be no huge announcement. It should be a secret for us to discover. The rarity could be increased a little. But most importantly, they all have to be released in one update. Currently, shinies are nothing more than a skin for two Pokémon families that appear psuedorandomly. Wouldn't you much rather encounter and catch a shiny Pokémon other than the ones everyone seeks and or already has; it could feel like only you had it and was therefore truly special?
