"Could Silver return in USUM? Possible G/S/C spoilers"

I was just rewatching the newest trailer (I am so damn hype) and I was thinking. If Giovanni came from a world in which he succeeded could Silver come from that same world to help us defeat him?For those who haven't played Gold and Silver Silver is the rival from those games and hates team Rocket because Giovanni is his father and left him as a kid, so in G/S/C he wants to get the most powerful Pokemon to defeat them.If Giovanni succeeded in his world then the players Journey in G/S/C would most likely never happen as Giovanni would control Johto, as such the player never would have beaten and disbanded Team Rocket and Silver would still hold his grudge and follow Giovanni and Team Rocket through the ultra wormhole (or whatever travel method they use) to defeat him.So, opinions on this theory? I'm not certain this will happen but I, as a massive Silver fanboy, would love it to happen.
