"I'm getting my kids their first ever Pokemon games for Christmas, and I may actually be more excited than they will be!"

So I'm getting my son and his half brother 2DSs for Christmas this year and just picked up OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire for them as their first games! They've played some of my gaming systems, but these will be the first ones that belong to them. Thinking about them opening these things on Christmas brings back so many memories of me getting my Game Boy Color and Pokemon Red when I was around the same age.They're 7 and 8, and both have been bugging me to watch me play Pokemon and watch the movies with them pretty constantly for the last year or two. Because they can both now read, I figured that they should be able to play Pokemon well enough. I can't wait to fully introduce them to the world of Pokemon!Does anyone else remember the time they first got into Pokemon whether it was through the games or the TV show or the TCG?And bonus question, I was thinking of breeding a couple of Pokemon to give them when they first start playing.
