"November would be the perfect time to release the rest of the shinies. AKA: Niantic's Timeline"
#PokemonGO: Niantic often adds features to the game that follow the timeline of how Pokémon actually unfolded from the beginning with Red and Blue. (And Green, you Japanese people.)Disclaimer: I know there are more allusions than these. I simply wrote the ones from the top of my head.Starters are Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander (versions Green/Blue/Red), along with the Pikachu Easter egg (Yellow).Eevee naming tricks for one-time chosen evolutions (Rainer, Sparky, Pyro), parallel with the Eevee brothers from the anime. Then later with Espeon and Umbreon.Lugia is released along with the legendary birds alluding to how Lugia was the "Trio Master" of the legendary birds in Pokemon 2000.After the generation II release, we had the water festival which features our first shiny Pokémon - Magikarp! Alluding to the shiny Gyarados in the Lake of Rage in Gold/Silver being the first shiny Pokémon to be introduced in the main series. (Shiny Pokémon in Go also began after generation II because generation II was the first generation to have shiny Pokémon.)Along with the Gen II release, all shiny Pokémon are now encounterable in the wild, parallel with shiny Pokémon appearing with a small chance (1/8192) with any and every encounter ... err, wait... This one didn't happen. Why didn't this happen, I wonder? It would only make sense with half of the things Niantic does to release the rest of the shinies before generation III is upon us. (Which will at least begin in December.) We already have three new shiny families in the span of a few weeks.Releasing all shinies will be a big update - too big for Niantic to throw it in with.. say.. the generation III update. I believe it should happen in November to keep us happy and hunting until generation III rolls around.Trickling the shinies as they have been doing doesn't do any good. Nobody really wants that, and it wouldn't hurt the game to throw all of the shinies at us at once. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2lGSIoR
