"[Other] Another legitimate player banned because of false reporting (via harassment/bullying)"

#PokemonGO: I am part of a large group of instinct players that reside in Ottawa, Canada. My friend, colleague and teammate (originally called SodomEyes) was golden razzberry feeding a gym and was subsequently reported shortly thereafter for having a controversial name and was asked to change it. She changed her name (unfortunately leaving Sodom in the name) to EyeofSodom or EyesofSodom, or some variation thereof and her name was continuously reported. I’m assuming it is the same trainer reporting her.She has asked Niantic several times exactly what needed to be removed from her name with no reply, just to find that she was reported again and asked to change it again. She received an email from Niantic saying that her account has been deleted.She tried to appeal and can remove Sodom from her trainer name but they decided to leave her account closed. I’ve also emailed Niantic Support on her behalf and Niantic has told me she needs to contact them (which she already has).She does spend money on this game and is part of our Instant slack team in Ottawa. She is a good player, legitimate and my teammate.She doesn’t cheat or spoof and abides by the TOS. I’m sending this out to the public, as I have no further avenues to pursue also hopefully /u/NianticGeorge can comment on this.Again what bothers me and what I have seen from another post is that a legit player without warning for 3rd party software, no shadow ban, also no spoofing or botting, how can she get a permanent ban?I think some communication is necessary and a warning should be issued if a permanent ban is pending based on what is wrong with the name.She should be allowed to change her name and if reported, the name needs to be properly validated to see if it’s justified at Niantic before automatically terminating the account. I believe this is unfair, and as a friend and teammate, I’m really bothered by this. Is there anything that can be done to re-instate her account?
