"Pokemon Platinum's Old Notebook (possible USM spoilers)"

So way back in Pokemon Platinum, we were introduced to Rotom's signature ability, going into certain devices to possess them. We all know this by now, I mean, We have a Rotodex now!Well back in Gen 4, this was such a big deal that there were two notebooks dedicated to this feature. The first one was made by written by the new character Charon; "There is a mysterious notebook here. Its age is impossible to tell." "It was by pure chance that I obtained information about the Pokémon Rotom.-- To ensure I get all the credit, my Rotom research must be kept secret. They will come to recognize me as the scientific genius Char..." "The rest of the notebook is blank."Now the second Notebook is a bit more interesting. It's also about Rotom's powers, so everyone assumed that this notebook was also written by Charon; "It's an old notebook. There's no telling how old it is." "Our encounter was a sudden one. It was when I found my toy robot, one that I had earlier misplaced. At that instant, a Pokémon startlingly emerged from the lawn mower's motor! Clutching my robot, I stared, transfixed by the peculiar Pokémon."Well with Ultra Sun and Moon out and Episode RR about, I want to purpose a new theory, almost 10 years later. The second notebook wasn't written by Charon.... but by Cryus.There's not a lot of evidence to my claim, so it's a bit of a stretch, but it's still a thought. The main two points are these; In the first, newer notebook that's clearly written by Charon, it reads like he had only just learned about Rotom's ability, believing that it's a breakthrough. It gives the impression that he's writing this for himself, so it feels silly if he would write a brand new entry just to act like this is something new.And the second point, which is a bit more relevant, is Cyrus' reaction to the Rotodex in Episode RR. He's the only boss to actually bring out Roto during their speeches, wanting specifically to see it. And after the battle, he makes his promise specifically to Rotom. Again, it's probably looking to deep into things, but I can't help but shake the thought that Cyrus has a connection to Rotom, which could link him to the Old Notebook.
