"Pokemon whose home region is different from their debut generation"

I believe some pokemon are not native to the generation they were first introduced in. Main reason being that you can't find them in the wild. Prime examples being pokemon like Beldum-, Riolu-, Larvesta- and Zorua- evolution lines. You can only get them from events and as gifts in their debut generation games, but you can catch them in the wild in other regions. First region where zorua/zoroark can be found in wild is Kalos therefore Kalos is the native/home region of Zorua evolution line.rule "first region where pokemon is catchable in the wild is home region" was reasonable fan theory but new generations have complicated things.Riolu can be found in floccessy ranch in Unovat but also on poni island in Alola. I would prefer the Alola as riolus home region. I can make a claim that floccessy ranc is "a ranch" so pokemon there are imported from other regions. Mareep there definitely are imported. But it is still only my opinion.Similarly Metang can be found in giant chasm in Unova and also on Mount Hokulani in Alola. Mount Hokulani seems beter region for beldum because giant chasm was created by kyurem within 100 years and beldum and metang could have escaped from pokemon transfer lab and flown from there to giant chasm. Then there are Gible which can be found in Sinnoh, Kalos and Alola. In sinnoh they can be found in dark and wet caves but they seem to prosper beter in deserts of Alola and Kalos. Then again Gabite is known as "cave" pokemon. Now Larvesta home region seems to be Alola beause you can find them in lush jungle cave. But pokedex implies their home route should be wela wela volcano. I wish they fix this when sun and moon remakes come in 2037.And now Zorua and Zoroark can be found in Alola and Kalos. Both regions seems to be as good. Althought many pokemon in Alola are imported according to npc characters. What do you think? Do you have pokemon you think should be native to other regions? post and discuss. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2n45xKC
