"What if the raid timer counted up?"

#PokemonGO: This is just a thought I had which I thought could help balance the raid experience for city and rural players and also help players from minority teams. An attempt would fail if the individual or group didn't get this boss down before the raid is to end. However, where as a team can 3 man a suicune in 5 min someone may try to solo and get it down in 15 min.How would groups work? If one set up a private lobby anyone with the code could join regardless of how far along to raid a has progressed with a limit of 20 players still. One would only get credit for the actual damage dealt. Some may get mad that the raid was started before they got there but they could solo instead of joining the group.Rewards would be doled out in bundles based how quickly the boss is defeated. In the case of the 3 man (disregarding gym control and assuming all same team) under the current system they receive 12 and let's say 9 reward bundles a piece. Instead for a lvl 5 raid anyone defeating suicune in 5 min would receive 27 bundles. As this is impossible solo these bundles would be distributed proportionately to the damage dealt and team contribution. Balls and rewards would be given based on gym control as well.A raid defeated in 15 min would only dole out 9 bundles to the team. But one strong player in a rural community could solo and receive the reward due her without needing to move to a metropolis. While the lvl 3 solo competition may not be as intense anymore players would compete for reward break points and try to be the first guys to get 10 bundles or something like that.Low level players would not have as big a negative impact on rewards as they simply move the entire group into a new bundle range by enabling the boss to be defeat in that much less time. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2zlTdtR
