"Another take on explaining super incubators"

#PokemonGO: Since there still seems to be some confusion... I mostly did the math for myself and thought I'd share.3 super incubators for 600 coins, hatching 10 km eggs9 hatches in 20 kmSpeed: 0.45 hatches/kmCost: 66.66 coins/hatchEfficiency: 0.00675 speed per cost4 regular incubators for 600 coins, hatching 10 km eggs12 hatches in 30 kmSpeed: 0.4 hatches/kmCost: 50 coins/hatchEfficiency: 0.008 speed per costCompared Efficiency0.00675 / 0.008 = 0.84 = 84%0.008 / 0.00675 = 1.18 = 118%Meaning the speedup from regular incubators is 18% more money-efficient than the speedup from super incubators. As long as you don't have 9 incubators running you can get the cheaper speedup. The only other reason for a super incubator is when you specifically need your 10km to hatch in 6.66 km and can't wait for the 10km mark to get the better payoff. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2z6zzkQ
