"Maximizing Stardust with Star Piece"

#PokemonGO: Disclaimer: This is with the assumption that Star Piece gives a 2x multiplier for Stardust for 30 minutes like Lucky Eggs do for XP.We all know how to maximize XP with Lucky Eggs, but how should we maximize Stardust with Star Piece?Found a chart of Stardust rewards here: http://ift.tt/2AE48O3 a berry at a gym100/300/500Catch the 1st/2nd/3rd evolution of a pokemon (baby pokemon don't count)600Regular daily bonus catch30007 day streak catch400-8002km egg (on avg, 300 dust /km /egg)800-16005km egg (on avg, 240 dust /km /egg)1600-320010km egg (on avg, 240 dust /km /egg)For those that are F2P or have limited Star Pieces at their disposal, I think it would probably make the most sense to do the following.Prepare the following on the 6th day of your catch streak:Save 100 regular berriesWalk a 10km egg to near hatchHave at least two gyms to feed berriesOn the 7th day:Activate Star PieceCatch first Pokemon for 7 day catch streak (3000+100)Feed 100 berries (2000)Hatch 10km egg (~2400)Spend remaining 25+ minutes catching as many Pokemon as possible (100x40)Regular Stardust accumulation would be ~11500.Half of that would be from the 7 day streak, egg hatch, and berry feeding. The other half would be from catching Pokemon.Assuming Star Piece is actually 2x Stardust, then it'd be a bonus 11500 to make 23000 in half hour.Asides from buying a lot of incubators and having more eggs hatch at the same time, can you think of a better way to maximize the Stardust gains? via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2AB1udU
