"Niantic - Higher level raids need to be scaleable"
#PokemonGO: I attached an image of both a T4 & T5 raid, this is an accurate representation of 90% of the higher level raids going on in our area in Pokemon Go. Every single time one of these raids pops up and I am nearby, I go over to check it out, and yep, sure enough nobody is waiting to do them. I have even sat around for 15-20min (or longer on some occassions) for many of them and no one shows up. So what is the point of even having a T4 or T5 raid, if the majority of time they go unchallenged? Seems like a waste of time for everyone.I don't understand why you cannot make T4 or T5 raids (in particular) scaleable? So that if you use your raid pass an no one else shows up then the raid scales to fit however many people are there? Explain to me where the harm in this is?You read these forums and it is a bad joke, people talking about 4-5 of this legendary or that legendary, while meanwhile I would bet that the majority of your player base probably doesn't even have one legendary. Doesn't this defeat the whole purpose of a "pokemon game" in the first place. Play any pokemon game and any player can catch a legendary, but in Pokemon Go, nope you must raid with 4-8 people to catch that legendary. What is this World of Warcraft? This is a casual game that people can play alone, with thier spouse\sibling\children or with friends why would you gate legendaries in Pokemon Go when it isn't required in any other Pokemon game? You already severely limit the raid rewards based on the tier level, you already have stardust as a gate for powering up Pokemon (and have greatly reduced the amount people could get through gyms), and furthermore for legendaries you have to walk them 20km just to get a candy, oh, and of course there is no guarantee that you will even catch the legendary if you happen to defeat it (low capture rate) and they cannot be used on gyms anyhow. So what exactly is the point in making them inaccessible to the majority of your player base?I fail to see the harm if 1-3 people showed up for a T4 or T5 raid and no one else shows up, that it could not be scaled down to allow them to have a chance to tackle that raid? It seems to me the most simple result could be that you significantly lower the CP of the captured Pokemon (if they capture it) as compensation, knowing that to power that Pokemon up would cost significant investment of time (designating as a buddy, 20km walk per candy) It seems entirely reasonable and would allow ALL players to have a chance to capture a legendary and fill thier Pokedex, and isn't that what Pokemon is all about? via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2yG1oxf
