"Pokemon GO needs its own, separate portal/pokestop submission system."

#PokemonGO: I am a lvl 40 Pokemon GO player living next to a pokestop-barren bike path with several engraved memorial benches. The city over has a hotspot where many memorial benches are stops and everyone gathers to farm items.I asked the local Ingress group about how to submit portals and was about to level up enough to do it, but they said that memorial benches are no longer portal-worthy, even if portals still exist in-game.Perhaps the two games have different ideologies, but if you can't put portals representing memorial benches on bike paths, then how on earth are you supposed to encourage walking and exercising? By driving to some random restaurant or church parking lot off a main road to spin a pokestop? We need our own submission system and criteria, and I think it's pretty bonkers that we will never get any pokestops on this lovely bike path since it's tied to Ingress and whatever they're going for. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2io1cwM
