"There needs to be a Fire-type Pokémon based on a Grease fire, and for multiple reasons."

Before I say why, allow me to tell a anecdote about me this past summer. While playing out in the woods, I encountered a centipede. I was tempted to touch it and maybe let it crawl in my hand. But nearly all centipedes have poison to some degree (some dangerous, some not so dangerous.)I didn't realize that at first (although I was probably taught so, it was something I was taught long, long ago that I didn't retain since I had never encountered a centipede up until this point.)But before touching it, I was reminded of Scolipede, one of my favorite Gen 5 Pokémon. I recalled its part Poison typing, and I figured that since Scolipede was Poisonous, that the Centipede is Poisonous as well. (Or technically Venomous, since it bites to inject it.) As such, I refrained from touching the Centipede. In other words, remembering information from Pokémon helped me stay away from a dangerous situation. Many of us have learned a lot from Pokémon, and many others report knowing things in class that they learned from Pokémon. And that brings me to why we should have a Grease fire Pokémon. Let's say GF makes one and calls it "Groil" (A combination of grease and oil. Not the most creative name I'll admit, but still better than Talonflame.)Groil would be a Fire type that has an ability similar to Flash Fire, that makes it immune to Water type moves and even powers up its Fire type moves when the opponent attempts to hit it with Water. Not only would Groil be useful and interesting in game thanks to its mechanics, it could even teach a lesson to people in real life. Not throwing water on a Grease fire seems like common sense, but there are a lot of people, particularly young kids who haven't been taught that yet. Or some people may have learned it but didn't really retain it because they haven't experienced a Grease fire.Somebody like that may encounter a Grease fire and may think to grab a bucket of water in the heat of the moment (No pun intended.) But if they encountered Groil in Pokémon, they may think to cover up the Grease fire instead of throwing water on it.I know there are people who don't play Pokémon, and I know there are many people who know not to throw water on a Grease fire. Groil obviously wouldn't make a difference in everyone's life, but it could make a difference in somebody's life. Much like how Scolipede kept me from touching a Centipede.TL;DR: A Grease fire Pokémon would be great mechanically and can teach a lesson in real life. Are there any other cool ideas for a "Life-lesson teaching" Pokémon that you may have thought of?Have you ever been in a situation where recalling information from Pokémon helped you out? Let me know because I think those stories are cool. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2FfkSNz
