"PSA: The current catch limit is currently around 3600 pokemon / 7 days"

#PokemonGO: The limit used to be 3500 pokemon / 7 days (rolling), but was briefly raised to 4200 / 7 days during the eggstravaganza. On April 18, 8:23PM I was at exactly 186k pokemon caught, but a softban came on April 25, 8:40PM at 189634 pokemon caught, so 3616 pokemon in 7 days + 17 minutes (actually got softbanned more than that in the meantime but hadn't kept track of my count 7 days earlier). And if I can bring this to the attention of /u/NianticGeorge , it's a design issue that the game isn't giving any warning or information of any kind about the upcoming catch limit softbans, meaning players use premium items like lucky eggs or star pieces only to find a few minutes later that they are softbanned and that their premium items have been wasted as a result. It's also a bit paradoxal to encourage people to play, but then punish them for actually wanting to play, and spoils the fun of events once you can't take part in it anymore.note: yes, I know, the world's smallest violin via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2HwreNy
