This is quite frustrating if you want to take a nice AR picture because you only have a couple of seconds to take the picture and if you fail, you have to restart the encounter.You can force Mew to become visible by waiting until Mew becomes invisible and then throwing a Pokéball on the ground which hits Mew after bouncing off the ground.
