"Why should I power up pokemon?"

#PokemonGO: I'm a level 40 player who does daily raids in a large city. Most raids I go to have 10-20 people in them. Occasionally I'll try and separate people into groups but I've gotten a bit tired of explaining why this is advantageous, so most of the time I'm in a larger group. Occasionally I'll solo a level 3 raid, but I don't feel particularly incentivized to do so. I don't play battle in gyms - I think they're boring.Under these circumstances, I have little incentive to power up pokemon, optimize movesets, or really do anything except show up and get my extra ball for doing 5% damage (hitting the 20% threshold here is unlikely). To add insult to injury, majority teams get 4-7 extra balls for putting in the same amount of work.It seems that team contribution and gym control ball bonuses ought to be reduced and personal damage bonuses increased. I think that 1-6 extra balls for putting work into your attack team is reasonable, with a commensurate reduction in team-based balls. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2EWAAMj
