"Catch rate of Community Day event spawns - where are they getting their BCR value from?"

#PokemonGO: My understanding is that all of the BCR values are set within the Game Master file, and is therefore set server-side.Since the Bulbasaur Community Day, it was noticed that during the event the catch circle colour suggested a significantly higher catch rate than it would normally have if it were a regular non-Community Day spawn. Despite this, to my knowledge there was no change to the BCR in the Game Master. I believe we also saw a different BCR for Mareep, and presumably Charmander will also have a higher BCR. I don't recall if Dratini had a higher BCR.Where is this special Community Day spawn BCR being set? And does this mean that there is a secondary way that Niantic is setting the BCR of spawns (and possibly raid bosses) that wouldn't be detected by analyzing the Game Master? via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2I4iazw
