"EverGrande City- Neither Grande nor a City"

So, i ve been playing ruby for the first time, and of course I am totally imersed in Hoenn. One thing though, was a HUGE letdown. Whenever I looked in the map, I saw the name of a certain EverGrande city, just before Victory Road. That name sure sounded exciting. Can you imagine, a big city, a metropolis right before the endgame? Well, now that i ve arrived i found out it is Just one Pokémon center and a flower field.
