"Field research obtained at the same time from the same stop may not give the same reward if trainer levels are different."
#PokemonGO: Apologies if this is already known, I checked the original research megathread (https://ift.tt/2HLI9HX) but didn't see it there.tl;dr: it seems like item rewards for field research can be randomised between trainers when the item in question is not available for every trainer levelSo I was just out playing with a friend of mine, and she got the research task "Battle in a gym 3 times." for a reward of 1000 stardust. As we we're planning on battling a gym anyways and I'm always on the hunt for dust, I deleted one of my tasks and spun the same stop - only to get the same task but with a reward of one max revive instead of the dust. As I never saw this happening before, I deleted the task and spun again, only to get it again with a max revive. And then it occurred to me - my friend is level 28, so she can't get max revives yet, that's the only explanation I could think of why the rewards were different for the same task from the same stop on the same day.Of course it could also be possible that the mechanics changed with this new batch of field research tasks and rewards are now always randomised, but I didn't read anything about that yet, and thought I'd share. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2Kw9D6f
