"Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan counters for every charge move depending on weather"
#PokemonGO: TL;DR: Mewtwo is the best of the best, but Espeon, Alakazam, Gardevoir and sometimes Flying Rayquaza are good too. A few others are barely good as final anchors. Windy makes your anti-Machamp team viable again.I'm not good at making infographics, so as usual I'm leaving these results as a table. All calculations have been done with my Choose Your Attackers v12.0 spreadsheet, assuming Rock Smash and Counter as fast moves.Keep in mind that the Hitmons are very hard raid bosses, so you need high-level attackers (or several Mewtwo).WeatherClose Combat / Low = Dragon Tail (Dragonite, Rayquaza), OR = Outrage (Rayquaza), Ms = Mud Shot (Groudon), SB = Solar Beam (Groudon), HB = Hyper Beam (Mewtwo), FB = Focus Blast (Mewtwo)Notes:These rankings are based on my "Raid Score" metric, where DPS is weighed exponentially and tankiness only proportionally, because raids are mainly a fight against the clock.1 Mewtwo: Co/Ps is best but PC/Ps is also great and even Co/SB, Co/FB and Co/HB are better than any other counter without weather boost.2 Alakazam: PC/FS and legacy Co/DG are not optimal but still acceptable, except for Cloudy weather where both PC/DG and Co/DG are optimal (even better than Co/FS).3 Espeon: ZH/FS and Co/Ps are quite suboptimal but still borderline acceptable.4 Metagross, Dragonite and Latios have DPS below the threshold needed for a Hitmonlee/-chan clear (except when Windy), but you can put one of them as a final anchor against the appropriate charge move in case your first 5 are glass cannons (e.g. Alakazam, Espeon) and are fainting too soon.5 Rayquaza: AS/OR and DT/AA are not optimal but still acceptable. Don't use Ancient Power, not even when boosted by weather.6 Gardevoir: CB/DG is not optimal but still OK in Cloudy weather.7 Groudon, Moltres and Entei have DPS below the threshold needed for a Hitmonlee/-chan clear, but in Sunny/Clear weather you can put one of them as a final anchor against the appropriate charge move in case your first 5 are glass cannons (e.g. Alakazam, Espeon) and are fainting too soon.8 Lugia: ES/FS is not optimal but still good in Windy weather. Lugia without wind is far too slow.9 Kyogre and Raikou have DPS below the threshold needed for a Hitmonlee/-chan clear, but in Rain you can put one of them as a final anchor against the appropriate charge move in case your first 5 are glass cannons (e.g. Alakazam, Espeon) and are fainting too soon.10 Gengar: legacy SC/SB is slightly better than Hx/SB.More in the Weather / Moveset counter series:Groudon countersKyogre countersRayquaza countersJynx countersLugia countersLati@s countersGranbull countersEDIT: Minor Text Fixes™. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2FDupwI
