"[Idea] [Discussion] That Raise in Level Cap..."

#PokemonGO: Ever since one random guy randomly got seated next to John Hanke on an Airplane and Hanke made a bunch of random, unfiltered answers, I've been seeing folks on here, on Discord, etc, all talking about increasing the level cap. Which amuses me... I'm at about 32m XP... and gridning XP to 40 was just... bleh. Not very rewarding. And now, with Niantic giving away dozens of lucky eggs in every box and running double XP events every few weeks... I just can't get excited about the XP Grind again.On the same token, if they just up me to Level 41/42 automatically... that seems lame. Some folks have suggested they may use your badges to set requirements to level up as in Ingress... but I have at least silver on all badges besides Unown (and Gold on everything but a small few). I imagine most Level 40 players are in the same boat.I know folks have also suggested Platinum Badges for this. And I'm a fan of platinum badges as well - but, what if we took a page from special research instead?What if, once you hit Level 40, to go further, you have to undertake a series of quests for each level. Now, for most levels, the individual aspects of the quest would be the same (increasing in quantity, of course). Earn XXX XP. Catch YYY Pokemon. Hatch ZZZ Eggs. As with special research, this will not account for what you've already done. You will need to achieve these goals while on each individual level. Some levels could have unique requirements (or semi unique Requirements) - like odd levels could require fighting in gyms and even levels require completing certain levels of raids.This would make leveling up an all-encompassing task (instead of spamming lucky eggs on mass evolutions and legendary raids) to (in theory) force you to become a well-rounded trainer in all aspects of Pokemon training while also letting everyone 'start' on the same playing field instead of me automagically being gifted 2-3 levels (and someone with 100mXP being gifted six or so levels).Thanks for reading my proposal.
