"No shiny zone - community day 5 (May)"
#PokemonGO: Tl;dr for those who haven't read the previous threads : small location, 7 stop walk along shore and through park, plenty of spawns, no shinys yet seen at location. Research option to gather data on possibility of "shiny spawn points" Read stats before screaming RNG.So, dissapointing day from a research point of view. We (daughter and I) were all set with a load of great and ultra balls, all stops were lured by 10:05, but no charmander at all until around 11:15. Crazy spawns, but just normal commons apart from a couple of luvdisc and my first wild pupitar. The commons still dominated when charmander appeared. Not as bad as mareep day but close. Most charmander seemed to spawn from lures. So, numbers. I caught 122, she caught 108. 100% catch rate for both however we were using pretty much exclusively ultraballs. Not as much data as I would have liked, but that takes the total CD catches in this location with no shiny sightings to 969Previous days - Pikachu day - 237 caught between my daughter and I, lots checked, Dratini day - 201 caught and many more checked Bulbasaur day - 212 caught - 239 seen Mareep day - 89 caught - 89 seen.Have contacted Niantic to ask if this is an error. I really hope its not as that will lend some creedence to the "shiny spawn point" theory.Previous thread here : https://ift.tt/2IzPACo via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2rXcu0j
