"Unpopular Opinion: I love the titles for the games and I cannot wait to see Kanto in 3D!"

I do not understand the hate towards kanto, or to the names of the Switch remake/sequel/whatever this might be ...Remember X and Y? Black and White? None of those are great titles so don't pretend that Let's Go (Cutesy Cartoon Creature) is especially bad.Seriously, the titles are ones that little kids will absolutely be drawn to, which means more revenue for GameFreak and even better games down the line hopefully because of the extra revenue and all that merchandise related to Pikachu and Eevee being sold.Plus, no kids around today will really be all that familiar with Kanto outside of vague references in later games since we last saw the region nine years ago and very few toddlers or infants are playing Pokemon.Kanto will be a very new experience for much of GameFreak's target audience. Thirty year old you may know a lot about kanto, but realistically ten year old Toshio in Japan or Jimmy in Ireland has only heard of the name and seen its Pokemon but never explored the actual region or interacted with the people inside it.This will be a very exciting experience I am sure. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2rQGcTE
