"If kids can‘t have friends, at least give them gifts and bonuses"

#PokemonGO: The friends feature is not available for children under the age of 13, which puts them in a considerable disadvantage. If there are no plans to make this feature available to them, at the very least Niantic should try to even it out. Here are my suggestions for this:Kids should get gifts from Pokestops that they can open up immediately. (Obviously some daily limit would apply.) This would not only get them items they cannot get from friends, this would also give them access to the 7km Alola eggs. Each gift should give some amount of XP, as they cannot get XP through leveling up friends.Give them bonus Pokeballs for raids, as they cannot get them through friends.Give them bonus attack multiplier for gyms and raids as they cannot get them through friends. This might level up similar to friends, e.g. for each day that they opened a gift from a stop.As they still cannot trade, I suggest increasing the chance for shiny encounters for kids. This is by far no perfect solution, but it wouldn’t least alleviate some of the disadvantages. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2tCUAQy
