#PokemonGO: I'm an admin of a local Irish pokemon go group and on (rare!) occasions we organise some minor event/celebration (mainly aimed at the kids who play).The last one was at the Halloween event and we gave away some plushies and sweets. But for the next event (squirtle community day) we now have readily available "prizes" - regional/rotational mons! For the low cost of 20k stardust some kid can now get their Kangaskhan or Corsola or even Unown - in a way these prizes are more valuable than the €12 plushie or enamel badges which I had bought previously as prizes.So just wanted to remind people that for those who want to organise something on the cheap then trading becomes a really neat way for you to share the love at almost no actual cost.Edit:One commentator made a really good point - kids won't be able to get the benefit of trading if they are using PTC/aged under 13(?) - I'm glad to have kept physical gifts as presents still.Oh and here's the rough flyer for our mini-event (I suspect that squirtles won't have as many people out during community day otherwise):https://ift.tt/2KmNOW4 edit:Actually - as someone else pointed out in our local group - we can only do 1 "special" trade a day - it's okay in my case as I've recruited some friends who are heading to Dortmund to help out with sending on Corsolas to winners but it's actually going to be impossible to give both an Unown and Corsola to the no.1 winner (even if they're not a <13 kid) on the same day (as they'll need to perform 2 special trades that day).
