"I loved Sun/Moon"
I just wanted to say that generation 7 saved my interest in the Pokémon series. I started with Emerald when it released, and played until X/Y. Personal favorites were White 2 and Platinum.I lost interest for a while, but when Sun/Moon were announced, I thought the idea of Pokémon Hawaii was interesting enough. Only recently was I able to play them, though, and they didn't disappoint! I liked the more story/character heavy aspect of it, I enjoyed the laid back feel, and the new pokemon were charming ( Some unexpected favorites being Wishiwashi and Nihilego).I see a lot of complaints about cutscenes and hand holding, but I never really found it game ruining. (After the first city, there aren't that many, and they go by fast). I never even thought of it as a problem until I started revisiting this reddit, actually.I don't really want to go on a rant, but I think people are way too harsh on these game. If you're on the fence, give it a try! But its good to be back, and I'm looking forward to the switch games( both the Lets go and the hardcore 2019 game) via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2IJPKX6
