"My friends son says Ultra Sun is too difficult."
He's 7 I think, he chose the fire starter. Totem Araquanid destroyed the thing, I think it was level 23. His next highest level was a level 20 Mr. Mime, followed by a traded Noibat at level 18 I think. After losing a couple times I helped him train up a Mareep he caught, to level 20, and it evolved. Also got Noibat to level 20.Flaffy did damage and paralysed it, but went down to Araquanid and its spawn. Next came in Noibat and I reminded him to use a Roto boost. Araquanid got fully paralysed, then Noibat did decent damage with gust, but out came a suprise Aurora beam taking it down. In comes level 16 Magnemite, I got him to revive the Flaffy here, down goes magnemite. Flaffy comes back in and finishes Araquanid, but the dewpider finishes flaffy. Mr. Mime finishes off the Dewpider, Waterium z aquired.Did some fishing, got a poliwag, then ran full speed to the fire trial and loses even with low level poliwags Waterium z. Says the games too difficult! He did no preparation and left the fire stater with the dark move in the pc. He did say he's gonna keep trying, as long as he gets his pokemon in order he'll be fine. This sub is completely full of adults moaning about how the games are too easy and any child with no hands could beat the game easily. But it's interesting to see a kid, the target demographic struggle so hard :P some kids with a bit less of a love for pokemon may have put the game down for good at that point I think. Luckily this kid and his mum love the game. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2KA6Ich
